Seems like hex got an idea from Libby's "food on the go" situation that she did for nute. And he wanted to see if he can try that with nute. With nute being to one providing the service.
Nute isn't much of a predator, so hex had to make his way into his belly sort of speak. Now nute can't seem to get full because hex is eating all the burgers nute keeps eating. They both are growing quite big.
