Omni soon gets to the Elder's hut and when entering the elder and Felcote were there.

Elder: Ho ho ho, my, my they were right, you are a tall felyne.
Felcote: And apparently is strong, they said he kicked a Rathalos in the face.
Omni: Actually the side of its face and I did have a pretty good running start, it was just dumb luck. (I should try and not reveal that I'm stronger than I really am.)
Elder: Ho ho ho, now, now, no need to be modest, you helped 3 felynes all by yourself.
Felcote: And gotten a lot of material but slicing it to pieces, it is... an unheard feat w/o it being chopped up after capture or hunting. So something like that, can't be dumb luck.
Omni: Heh, yeah. (She does seems quite sharp.) So anyways, I was told that I could come here for a badge to be a... Mewonster Hunter,
Elder: Indeed, though you don't get one for free, but through a training quest. Though Felcote here has suggested something different in mind.
Felcote: From what we heard from those you saved and came to assist you, I believe you might be perfect for quest about a Velocidrome w/ an some kind of... growth on its head.
Omni: A growth... so it didn't have one before until now.
Felcote: Right. You can get a satchel, monster info and get your gear in the village, a balloon will be able to take you to where it is. Good luck.

Omni then heads into the village, as thanks he gave part of his materials from the Rathalos to the 3 he saved, then he'd gotten a satchel, the info on the monster and had enough zenni to purchase a sword, then later he gets to the airship and traveled to the 'Ancestral Steppe', Omni waved to them as the airship left, he then checked his supplies a bit before then running out to search for the Velocidrome, he was told they were found in a canyon w/ a lake, after a while he then finds the location and then looked to see the Velocidrome and the 'growth' on its head.
