Here we have Jax Vadum one of Rex's older siblings, he's the handyman around the base. If you need something fixed talk to him, but don't let him do anything that has to do welding, hence the missing fur patches. Ever since Jax was little he always loved to build/take things apart, Riley didn't really expect to find his plasma rifle in pieces across the floor. Also he's never been seen with out those welding googles on his head.

It's certainly a good ideal to add a handyman to round out the cast.
One area of improvement would be to look at reference of googles. They have a 3D shape that extends a bit to either side of them at full width. It also seems more normal for a handyman to tuck in his shirt.
