These are a couple characters I have been working on for a while now.

Ebonheart is a large Changeling brute. He is quite gruff and battle hardened. He was part of a Changeling raid that swarmed Peppermint's parent's cabin. In all the commotion there was a fire and her parents died. Ebonheart found Peppermint when she was only a baby outside of the rubble afterwards. He had never killed his victims, captured and replaced, Yes, but never killed. He could never be sure if the fire wasn't his fault.

He took her in and cared for her in a cabin near the Everfree forest. He tries to give her a normal life as much as he can. Peppermint sees him as her father and does love him. He tries to keep her away from other Changelings as they wouldn't understand.

Peppermint showers him with love and affection. He puts up with her girlish ways but deep down he does enjoy making her happy. Though he won't admit to himself that he cares for her.

"It looks so cute on you. Shame it wouldn't fit around your neck."
"Yes, it's cute. *grumble grumble Do I really have to wear this thing? grumble grumble* Thank you."
