That's, well I'm guessing he might be a prince or king now, Thorax the changeling. He and the rest of them evolved and pretty much sided with him when he showed them a new way to gather love. Chrysalis didn't take it so well and outright rejected Starlight's offer to join them and reform swearing revenge on her as well.

Yeah it was pretty crazy and also stupid n Chrysalis' part. She wants what's best for her subjects yet outright rejected the perfect solution for survival when the traitor and enemies outright offer it since they want peace with changelings now that it's possible.

I for one am glad she rejected it, because if she had accepted it would have been yet another heel face turn villain redemption. And I hope her revenge will be epic.

You forget though she's also a mother since the hive is her children. By not reforming and bolting for it she basically abandoned her own children which is pretty stupid if you ask me. Especially since she caused so much trouble in her 1000 years of life to feed them.

Perhaps but seeing how she invade the capital of Equestria to feed them, I'd say she had the best of intentions but not the best planning or logic and seeing them side with Thorax in the end probably broke her seeing how she's acting now like someone who lost everything.

I don't know, she only seems to care about them so long as they are useful to her and obey without question. She was more than willing to destroy thorax for acting against her will.
