At the hideout; Mahhock and the bandits were happy for what they would receive, they took Nyaria's necklace and crown and used the necklace around the note, then a bandit left to deliver it, Nyaria was put in a cell, she tripped and fell still crying.
She was saddened by her friend Omni having been tortured like that, or even possibly killed, but deep down she felt he was still alive, she sat up and began to pray hoping that Omni would get help soon, it was all she could do while in the cell.
It was 1 hour to sunset and no sign of Nyaria or Omni, the king and the rest were getting worried, then a soldier brought a letter w/ Nyaria's necklace, Roergan read it, it was a ransom note demanding money for their daughter's safety.
Perella cried, Maota gripped his mother's skirt afraid for his sister, Roergan crumpled it and growls, "Darn it! I trusted him to keep Nyaria safe! And he's failed..." "Sire, he would never let that happen unless he was outnumbered."
"What do you know, Eingrahm? You'd never let this happen! I should have sent you w/ them!" he said, Eingrahm thought the king was to angry to reason w/ now, so he went out and got on a Biwirk and rode off, knowing where they were going to be.
Eingrahm rode on until he gotten to the lake, the place Nyaria said they'd be, but when he got there he saw nothing but something rather disturbing, a large 10ft circle of black grass, he walked over and when touching it, the circle dissolved to be like ash.
Eingrahm quickly stood up in shock, he looked at his hand almost feeling scared at what he felt, like an emptiness but also raw primal rage, he snapped himself out of it and gotten back on the Biwirk, to ride quickly back to tell the king.
But as Eingrahm rode back the sun was setting, one of the lunar stars was glowing in the sky as the sun was a quarter gone, but from a gentle silvery glow it changed, stretching thin and becoming red as blood, pulsing like ripples in the water in the evening sky.
