how long do you think it'll last?

I am not able to commit to a stable update schedule, but believe me, I won't be dropping this anytime soon. I expect the first chapter to last 20-25 pages.

We all have different priorities, I suppose! The matter is not her living with her parents or not, but abusing that situation and not giving anything back.

I'm curious, what kind of boss is Theresa? Is she a greedy, ruthless, cutthroat CEO who has little regard towards her workers and/or any environmental destruction her logging company does, or does she care about her company and people just as much as she seems to care about her family, or some combination of both? The fact that she apparently married one of her workers inclines me towards the latter.

It is certainly the latter. She is cunning, demanding and business savvy, but not by any means the kind of psychopath we so often see at the top of most large enterprises. She is never unfair or arrogant, and she does her best to lead her employees by example, not being above going on the ground to oversee operations and learn more about the physical part of her business. That is how she met her husband, in fact. ;)

Not surprising, and it further supports my mental image of her and her husband being good people and a happily married couple.^^
