I don't think I ever submitted this. Huh. ANYWAY these are some doodles I did last year, messing around with designs for an elephant character. I've wanted one for a while but I find them very hard to anthro-ize and make "sexy" or just... not incredibly awkward. IDK.
Here are two of the ideas I had, top guy is a business-phant or loan shark of some sort, generally a shady character and someone you don't want to cross. Lower guy is more Bohemian, artist type. I think he's a painter?
I still may continue to mess with ideas. SHROOG.

Heh, like the top one holding his cigar in his trunk. Not sure if he's smoking through his trunk (I'd imagine smoking through one's nose to be terribly uncomfortable) but elephants can wrap their trunks to their mouths, so I'm figuring he does that.
Bohemian ele looks rather bored, probably in somewhere he's uncomfortable with (seeing an image where both of them, as cousins, are at a family reunion, where Suit Ele is taking up the whole conversation, and Bo Ele wants to show the world how an elephant can vanish).

Oh wow these are so awesome Liz!! I love the idea of an elephant anthro, you really don't see many of those. I think you did a great job merging the two without making it look awkward. I really like the top guy and how he is smoking with his trunk XD Haha and the dreads on the bottom guy are great! <3
As much as I love the scarred up sleazy guy, the artist ele is total win. Because... elephants paint with their trunks. IT WORKS SO WELL.
Also, give me your goddamned talent. I'm drooling over the colors you've used on the artist. I couldn't pull it off without making him look like an easter egg.
