nightfirer
Nightfirer decided to spend the day at a newly renovated festival ground in town, when he came upon a hall of illusion mirrors that looked rather large for such a simple attraction.
Stepping inside he took a quick peek around, some mirrors showed thin, fat, bulky and tiny versions of himself. They were amusing but nothing he hadn't seen before.
That was until he noticed one mirror out of the corner of his eye, his reflection drew him closer.
It was him, but not human. He saw his anthro fursona staring back into his eyes blankly. How could this be possible?
The idea that a mirror could show him something like this was unbelievable, downright impossible!
While he tried to contemplate how they set up the mirror's trick, the spell had already taken hold. His ears began to grow out, pointed, slowly rising up the sides of his head whilst growing fine tufts of fur. As his jeans grew an unfamiliar buldge and his shoes grew itchy, warm and tight.
Snapping out of his daze he looked down just as his feet had burst loose from his shoes, but his feet were strange, thicker clawed paw toes greeted him as they wiggled free of the constraining footwear. His eyes went wide with a mixture of shock and excitement. Another tear could be heard as the fabric of his jeans ripped down the seams at the back, freeing up his lengthening tail.
Nightfirer observed the changes closely, ideas racing through his mind, but he was unaware of his reflection, which had also been changing all the while, into a human. It's fur receded, ears shrank down and rounded, muzzle diminished to a small nose and mouth. As a coy grin spread across it, seemingly amused at how willing it's victim was to accept the changes.
It's victim, to be quite honest didn't seem to care one bit though. Nightfirer opened his new muzzle in glee, letting his new long floppy tongue roll out and pant, he already knew he was becoming a maned wolf, and the more he changed the more excited he got. His torn clothes began to slide off his fur covered body, bit by bit as he watched his paws form. He started to lose his balance, but quickly fell to the ground on all fours to compensate. He shook himself and let the fur spread to every inch as it ruffled out and his coat grew in fully. As the changes completed, the new maned wolf rushed around the hall, looking at himself in all of the mirrors as he scrambled for an exit so he could run free through the fields. The door he came in was shut tight, but upon exploration he found an exit and dashed out. Rushing right into the middle of an exhibit pen near the petting zoo area. As he scampered about excitedly, people took his picture and kids pointed in awe.
The other maned wolves came up to him to greet and lick him, he didn't care how the mirrors had changed him, he was going to enjoy it.

Your artstyle is starting to remind me a bit of Nojo, especially the surprised faces. That's a compliment, by the way
I love the idea and execution! Some of the changes on the reflection looked a bit uneven to the real world Nightfighter, but it would have probably been way more effort than it was worth to make sure it was perfect. I still love it. Keep up the good work!
