Since becoming a snake, Solena had been looking for some kind of refuge and place to live and learn. She had heard of tribal snakes living in the rainforests, tight-knit communities that look out for one another. She decided to venture into one of these forests in hopes of finding one of the tribes.

She soon encountered a boa hunting in the woods. She approached cautiously, but to her surprise the boa didn't try to attack or be threatening towards her. The boa introduced herself as Taigi, a native of these woodlands. She offered to take Solena in and away from the dangers of the wild woods.

To Solena's surprise she was taken back to a large village of tribal snakes, with buildings reaching high into the tree, and all of the inhabitants wearing colourful clothing. She began to feel excited at the opportunity to reside here among the snakes, this being the refuge she sought, and wanted to be a part of this culture and way of life.

Taigi allowed her to stay in the village and learn to live as one of these snakes. Over time Solena began to adapt to this way of life, until she was another fitting member of this rainforest tribe wearing the same colourful clothing. Taigi was thrilled to have found another friend to care for, and to play her part in contributing to the tribe's way of life.

As they sit together on watch to help protect the village, it feels almost surreal, as if Solena has always been part of this tribe now. Taigi smiles, pleased to see how far her new friend has come.
