This was done as a commission for Osmiumdragon as a gift for Sorona over on dA.

He remembered how much she said she loved the first gauntlet I made for my sister, as seen here:

And so as a gift to Sorona, he ordered a custom one for her. ^_^ The only specification, was that it had to look "regal".
So this is the end result after trying multiple different designs. As you can see by looking at the first one I made, I modified the design of this gauntlet quite a bit. I opted to go for a more oriental look, with read and gold accents, and some lovely fire stones. :) It's also got lots of eyelets in it, as this one is a lace-up rather than a belted one.

I also tried out a marvelous new finishing technique by using an incredible product called "Modge Podge". My god, this stuff adds such a beautiful and natural looking sheen to things!
