Backstory: Jennifer grew up in Boston as the second daughter in her family. She is a third generation Chinese immigrant (meaning her grandparents came to the US). Her parents own a small Chinese restaurant, the Golden Dragon, where she works as a waitress. She has an older sister who left Boston and lives in San Francisco now. In school she was always scored top in her class and did activities like learning to play the piano and cheerleading in that time. When it became clear that her sister would move away from Boston her father told her that she was now expected to take over the family business in the future. Due to that circumstance she had to give up on studying design like she intended to do but rather study business to get some knowledge to do so. She met Alex and Chloe when they were dining in the Golden Dragon for the first time and immediately liked them, a feeling that as she would later discovered was mutual. The two started to come to the restaurant more often and she would always be more than happy to serve them, over time they got to know each other quite good and even became friends. Now she visits the Taylors as often as she can, teaches Chloe how to cook some of the dishes they serve at her restaurant and does some other fun activities with her and her husband.
