Welcome to the first part of what will be a continuing, open-ended adventure in the Further Realms!
What makes it open ended you may ask? Well, the story is going to be told through the use of 1 to 2 page, ILLUSTRATED overviews. In doing this, the story as a whole is presented while leaving lots of wonderful room for readers to use their own imaginations to fill in the gaps as they see fit. :)
As for the illustrations, I am primarily using gallery pieces from those artists who have inspired this story as a whole. Links will be included with each "Further Realms Creative Campaign" segment to the originals as well as a noticeable nod to the friend who is an active part of the telling of this tale. I hope this aspect adds to the fun of the story and goes to show my ture appreciation for all the inspiration you all have given me on each and every one of my other projects up to this point.

Yup, yup! You guys helped me come up with a most clever and exciting idea and I thank you very, very much for it. *Big cuddle hugs*
Look for more sections over the coming weeks along with the surprises that each section brings. Good times, good friends, good fun. Yep, yep, yep! :)

Ehehe, I've been curious about this all day! I only read about wandering around and home... but the whole story from front to end is great! :D I like that there's a name for planeswalkers! I also had to look up other words like culmination and mana (I figured it was something magical, I don't RPG enough!) and it's great that you had words that got me thinking. (:
It's too bad ole Nishidor's old world eventually tore itself down, though I'm glad he survived!
The open-ended-ness of this is great. :D I think it was Seuss or some writer that said the best stories end on a question, or something that make you think, rather then giving everything away and spelling itself out for you. It's an opinion, but one that I like! :3
Who knows! At first I thought maybe when he saw another place was in danger, and someone else needed help (desperately), he figured it was the right thing to do to help them out, instead of focus on an old world that was long since gone. Maybe they'd make a better world together! Perhaps Nishidor figured he could help the king for now, and get back to his goal later if it still mattered to him. Who knows!
Of course, that's not the only option. 8D The king was desperate, maybe he kicked Nishidor out of the picture so that he could have the world he longed for instead! It was supposed to be a sad end after all. Maybe things didn't work out for either of them, and the king's attempts failed, leaving both of them without the world they loved.
Haha, tons of options, that's what makes it fun. :3 I'll look forward to seeing what goes on with the rest of the campaign! I'm honored to be in part 1 of your next cool-school project! :D

I'm so very happy you liked the idea and were pleased with the way I utilized Nishidor to kick things off. The good news is that, despite how it ends, there is more to Nishidor's tale that will unfold in the next sections that will allow for further thoughts and possibilities.
The fun part of this project is how, by the end, it will ACTUALLY be a HUGE story. However, it won't be huge in writing size what-so-ever. Rather, the plot will unfold through descriptions like that of the noble planeswalker, Nishidor.
What of the king? What was Nishidor's sad end? Was it really, truly a sad end? Only time, and your own imagination, will find out! :)

You're most welcome, Scooter. Actually, it's thanks to friends like you that I developed this writing style. My "FA Research" has shown that not too many people have time to read a bulky, word-loaded story. Especially from someone like myself who isn't, how you say, established. The "Creative Campaign" is based entirely around viewer friendliness in its ability to deliver a solid story with as few words as possible while, at the same time, using pictures to take away from the typical, black-and-white blandness of traditional reads.
Yay!
Yay!
Yup, yup! Ol' Oxnard helped me TONS in developing this particular type of writing style. It only made sense to use his works as a key piece of the overall project. :)
It makes me very happy to see you enjoying my "Further Realms," Ham-Ham. You've done so much for me and to be able to create something you find interesting is quite an honor.
