Also, I have Terraria and was wondering if Starbound is similar and worth the money.

Starbound is very similar to Terraria, with a few differences. First off, it requires more processing power than Terraria. Not entirely sure why, as I'm not a computer expert, but keep that in mind. Secondly, it's more active and alive, as NPCs appear more often and usually have quests you can do. You can even hire them as crew members once you've done enough missions for them to want to join. Thirdly, you're not bound to just one planet. You literally have an entire Universe to explore and find all sorts of treasure and goodies. Fourth, You can choose what race you wish to play as, and with mods, you can play as more races. Fifth, it's open-world, but it's main campaign is not as cryptic thanks to the quests you get throughout the game, giving you more things to do. Sixth, NPCs are far more lively and show real character and personality. At least, these are the things I've noticed, because I've played Terraria too.
