So I decided to make a new species!
Please put your paws together for the Faerie Quips!
Originally these were simple knickknacks created by an old wizard in his free time to give to children who were afraid of the dark, thus why their eyes glow, however the Faerie that he summoned to aid in his magic took to the little creations and taught him how to bring them to life through magic. Now the creatures can learn to suit their masters needs as their child becomes an adult.
Today, magic users all over the world make Faerie Quips. They greatly range in size, depending upon the maker, and in colour and pattern, but all Faerie Quips have a bird like Porcelain face, curled tails, fluffy necks with furred bodies, large front claws, black eye whites, and small feathered wings.
Some Faerie Quips are small enough to fit in your hand, others are as large as medium dog breeds, such as a husky or border collie.
Due to the ritual that you have to preform to bring a Faerie Quip to life, they gain a magic of their own, useful for small healing/finding magic, and can call upon the power of one element that is chosen at the time of it's creation, to aid it's Master. When a Faerie Quip is casting it's irises will glow.
Their personalities can vary depending upon the caster who brought them to life, they often mirror their creator's personality, unless the caster is very gifted and can add the right emotions for the desired personality.
While these creatures do not have to eat, they do enjoy sweeties and fruit if given the chance to eat them.
Faerie Quips make a variety of sounds, most similar to birds, they chirp and can mimic human speech.
These creatures can only be created through magic, they cannot breed, and do not have a biological gender.
This is currently a CLOSED species, I will be making many adopts in the future, and eventually may open the species. This design will be put up for sale a bit later.
