But, for example, he actually bites when he uses the spell "Frostbite" and he's not very smart verbally, and as much physically adept as a magician can be. He grew up in the forest and learned unrefined magic, then refined it later. Also attacked by an animal, hence the scars and cheek holes.
Also terrified of fire. And king bird is his familiar .3.
