I thought it would be a fun challenge to deviate from my usual drawing style by trying out the infamous "chibi manga" art style. It was a joy to get back to my first original characters and do something different with them. The symbols represent the two different bands, the Fab Gears (Beatles tribute band) have little cogs/gears and the Prairiee Chikenz (Monkees tribute band) have tiny Texas Prairie Chickens. Lawl.
Yes, Mick usually has brown eyes, but I couldn't resist giving him big, sparkling blue eyes!

The paper I used made the prismacolors bleed outside the linework at various points, I tried to contain it as best I could.

-GEORGIO is the quiet, extremely shy type whose book-smarts and fear get him out of most situations. He also has severe agoraphobia and only his music and his friends can take his mind off the fear. He's very trusting of his brother and dependent upon him to do what Georg cannot, because of this, he lets his brother manipulate him into being his servant/errand-boy because he feels no self-worth and gives himself completely to whoever earned his trust. Despite this, he is a very smart fellow who always has his nose stuck in a book, he loves knowledge and discovering the world through text because he knows he'll always be too poor to visit other countries.

-PETER is the crazy, naive, 18 year old male with the mental capacity of a child. You will never find a happier villager who seems blissfully unaware of danger and terrifying events. His positive happy-go-lucky attitude tends to rub off on his friends, who see that he is truly a great friend when no one else will try to see beyond his accidentally-destructive side to see the kind, good-natured individual underneath. He talks slow, thinks slow, but he moves fast. His antics often injure himself and possibly anyone around him, leaving males to avoid him and females to mother him. They all know he's a bit "special" and has the attention span of a gnat, but they try to take care of him and point him in the right direction. He always tries his best to always do the right thing when situations occur, striving to be a "very good boy" and making everyone happy is always his goal. The villagers tend to treat him like a child, though at times he acts like a teenager.

-MAX is the strong but silent type. He's a fairly big guy with a big heart (whats left of it) and has got all the cool moves. He usually stands around and looks cool, calculating what to do next and pondering the logic of the universe. Max is the rock that binds the Fabs together. When Lingar ripped Max's heart out of his chest and tore it to pieces, Yinny gathered the remaining pieces of his heart and placed them inside a crystal with her magic. He's able to live as long as he wears the magical crystal necklace which glows red and bears his heartbeat. He must be cautious with it because he and his heart-crystal are still connected; if he bumps the crystal against anything, it would feel like a punch to the chest.

-PAUL is the go-getter type. He see's what he wants and he'll take it by wit, charm, or sheer brute force. He nominated himself as the leader of the Fab Gears because he said that nobody else had the gumption to get things done. He will protect his friends and family at the cost of life or limb, this makes him a true hero. His downfall is that he can be extremely jealous. He wears a blue crystal that bears his soul, since Yinny believed that he had lost his life so many times that he should have soul-insurance. This stone ensures that he if he dies, his spirit will be separated from his body (if someone took his body he must find it), and it will allow him to re-enter his body and live again. Paul uses his indestructible 18inch claws when he needs to intimidate or eradicate an enemy.

-MIKE's life is like a two-sided coin. One side is the smooth southern cowboy and the other side is a wacky mad scientist bent on mutating humans and anthros alike into hybrid monsters. He believes that kidnapping a few of the villagers and experimenting on them is acceptable because it goes towards a "great cause". At Mike's wackiest moments, you see the real side that he keeps hidden. He perfects the human/anthro form to give it what it needs to be more efficient at the task at hand, such as giving Paul giant nails to fight enemies. It heightens the action in the village and he is thrilled to create big, brutal beasts and unleash them onto the world and watch the battles that go on.

-MICK is the zany, energetic type. He's a real motormouth and it often takes quite a lot to get him to stop. He's always mugging for cameras and can be best described as a ham. He loves to be the center of attention. Besides being in a band, Mick's passion is the sea and sand. If you can't find Mick, he's most-likely outside surfing, lay on the beach, building campfires on the beach or throwing beach parties. He was the one who sought out the Prairees current beach house and obtained a good deal on it by befriending the previous owner who was also a surfer. Mick's a very social fellow that loves being surrounded by good anthros who love the same things that he does.

-DAVY is the innocent, hopeless romantic type. He has a fascination with the idea of being in love and the innocence of it. As they say, he flits flower to flower like a honey bee on a mission. He's always moonstruck and oblivious to reality, his entire world is in the eyes of his current female friend. Females who are familiar with his ways know he's a fool, yet new faces to the village often fall into Davy's love-traps. They are enticed by his luminescent eyes, poetic voice, and frail body, falling into a trance that only Davy can control. Cuddling is usually how far Davy is prepared to go, and if a girl wants to go any further than that, he see's it as too much of a commitment leaves as quickly as possible. Davy suffers from a mild form of brittle-bone disorder and has broken nearly every bone in his body, but heals fairly quickly and miraculously.
