Lauren Rivers is dead. She was murdered, and now she finds that the afterlife isn't quite what she expected. But there's a glitch, she isn't supposed to be there yet...
Earthbound, Agents Preez and Bunny investigate her case, working to solve her murder...
And dark forces are moving in the background.....

If you haven't already figured it out yet, he and Lauren are connected. ;) This story was actually surprisngly easy to write, I usually do an outline first, but this one I just started figuring out what scenes I needed and working from there. ;) *gives you a big kiss*

Well, yeah, this is an experiment for me, trying something vastly different than my usual fare. I normally do scifi, reality based. This is metaphysical and more religious than I usually to do, but I think it works well.
I almost had Volcan in part 1, but I decided that it wasn't necessary in part 1, but we shall see. I figure mythical beings defend the waystations, so it is possible he may appear in some capacity.

Well well well hehe. I just read parrft one and I am liking this very much. I have to say your portrayal of me in there is pretty good. I have not gotten too silly just yet but considering the subject matter I can understand. I would never be that goofy. But once it is all done. Oh yeah. Lets have a party! :D Love ya
Thank you. :) You'll notice that Angel is goofier and fun loving on Earth, whereas in Saint Peters she's much more serious. :)
I had to title Angel an archangel so I could get away with having her have wings while giving Lauren the title of 'angel' without giving them to her. :)

Well, I was going to make either you or Pepster the male lead and Lauren's connection to the living world, but since you and Kate already had a 'history', I figured I'd have you already be the hooked up partner. :)
Plust it gave Varry someone to come home to. :)

To me she seemed appropriate for the role, since I usually don't use mythical beings by and large, but this seemed to make the most sense to have her be one of the waystation guardians. :) *grins*
It's likely she'll recur in part 2 and if there is one, 3. :)
Veronica Quest is originally from Davis's third season, she originally began as the replacement 'mob boss' after Julian Star was killed. I liked her name, so I figured it'd work here, and I didn't want to reuse the same character that was the villains in the last small story.

Hikari just seemed to me to fit the 'essence' I was looking for. :) I think she fit the bill. It's hard to explain it, because as you've seen sometimes I mod characters as necessary, but there are certain characters and personalities that just fit certain slots better than others. ;)
I've started working on part 2, I'm about 5 pages in. :) I'll probably work on it some more next week, hopefully I'll finish it pretty soon. :)
I'm glad you liked it, it's not my usual story, I generally stick with scifi/fantasy rather than religion based action/drama, but I think I did a pretty good job for work out of my comfort zone. ;)
