I was always a lil' Trekkie, my dad brought me to cons, and let me and my brother stay up to watch 'Star Trek: The Next Generation'. When I was 12 I discovered 'Star Trek: The Animated Series'. I quickly realized I had a new favourite Star Trek character.

M'ress, the Caitian relief communications officer. She was, like, a cat! An alien species of kitty people! Well being 12, I quickly came up with a Mary-Sue like character of the Caitian race to indulge in my scary little Trekkie girl sex and adventure fantasies with the Voyager crew! She was always in my doodles and I probably still have some kicking around. I never wrote any stories, I just imagined epic adventures each night before I went to sleep, and remember what happened next time.

Hint: I own a cardboard cutout of Lt. Cmdr. Tom Paris that my grandma bought me that same year.

Her name? K'at.

Okay, okay, don't be too harsh on me, Kat is my REAL name. LOL

So, while my character was normally on ST:VOY, in honour of the new Star Trek movie, I have her here in the ST:TOS uniform. And, no, she never wore shoes. ^_^ It seems Caitians are not made for shoes. LOL
