Some of you may have wondered for some time what some of the off-the-wall phrases I, and some other users, occassionally say from time-to-time. Well, this excerpt from The Official Hamtaro Handbook should help clear all that up.
Part of a short, fun series of "Scrap" posts I am going to do throughout the week, this is but a single page from the unbelievably informational tome of Hamtaro wisdom that was The Official Hamtaro Handbook. This amazing guide was printed back in 2002 and is now only available through select retailers who may still have a copy of it on hand.
Needless to say, while I was away for my interview, I could not help but to dig up this wonderful, little book to share some of the nuances of Hamtaro that some may not have gotten to see as a result of missing out on this colorful book.

I always thought that was the noise he made when he jumped, but this is so cool! :D Lots of hammy Hamtaro art, and a cute visual guide to our silly little words. :3
I remember when I was first goofing around as Ox I had a big list of the terms from the show and the games, so my friends could pick up a few words, and so I could keep them in mind as well. :3
It's neat seeing how this looked! Thanks for sharing. (: It'll be neat finding out what the others look like too!

I'm glad you liked it, Ox. This book is truly too good of a treasure to keep to one self. Especially considering just how much they put into it. I only scanned out a few things, but there is just so much more goodness in it that, well, would just take up too much space if I bothered.
Next "Hamtaro Homage" will be tomorrow night. In the meantime, I found some other treasures while back in the homeland. I'll be posting one tomorrow and the other on Wednesday as a reminder to get my tail in gear again. :) Oopa!

Kazootles! I thought they only sold the trading cards on the West Coast!
I actually got three packs of Hamtaro trading cards from one of my pen pals. They are quite cute and the cards feature a pic on the front and a puzzle piece on the back. Put all the puzzle pieces together right and you have another take on Hamtaro's home town.
Hamtaro was so under-appreciated. *sigh*

I wouldn't mind if they brought back the show as it was. However, I definitely wouldn't want a reboot.
Hamtaro was a very inspirational show with lots of fun ideas. I got a lot of inspiration for writing from watching it.
