[Singular: Yepuri / plural: Yepurii]


Wut, another species? Yes xD - Sorry for this flood of species. It's just so much fun to create them!
But this time, it's an anthro-species and not humanoid :) A whole new challenge for me. I hope I'll be able to make great adopties <3

Appearance:

Yepurii have muzzles ( females have smaller ones, than males)
Normal female Yepurii reach a max. height of 5'0ft and males can grow up to 6'5ft
The biggest mutated Yepuri ever seen was 11'4ft.
Their faces shape can vary. ( long, broad, small, big etc...) just like humans have a different face shape too.
Yepurii have big ears in many kind of shapes.
They can walk on 2 and 4 paws.


Description:

They share their homeworld with invisible beings of pure energy, whom they worship as gods. Yepurii are afraid of water. Also they are very calm and they minimize conflict.
The Yepurii's habitat lies in wooded areas, jungles, arctic areas and even deserts. They are masters in adaption. Arctic Yepurii's have black skin and thick fur. Desert Yepurii on the other hand, have thin fur to prevent them from overheating and dying.
They are extremely susceptible to human diseases. Even the common cold is deadly to them, as they have no immunity.


A race of fun-loving and colour-blind mammals which follow a strict honour code. They Enjoy hunting for sport. Yepurii grow at an alarming rate and become sexually mature only one year after birth. They mate twice to three times a year and they mate with a specificly selected partner for life.

Yepurii are a very peaceful species. They have been held as experimental animals, that's why some very few of them have specific mutations. Some haven't even been discovered yet. It is estimated, that there are at least 3 more types of Yepurii living. Each with yet unknown traits. These will have to be discovered one day. Scientists have tested the Yepuriis DNA, to analyze their mutation. Unfortunately, as the result of this unknown mutation, the DNA chain is not fully stable, like it should be. That's why some Yepurii's eyes glow at night. The mutation has spread in specific regions of the DNA chain. This means, different Yepurii, have different problems ( or powers ) caused by this malfunction. Mutated Yepurii hide from the Scientist, that want to get them back and do more research on them. This means, by cutting them open... and other sick stuff. All the Yeputii stick together and the non-mutated ones protect the hunted.

Yepurii are highly social. They are territorial and form complicated social structures. They make sounds ranging from relatively high pitched to very low pitched and have a very limited range of sounds they make to indicate discoveries, dangers and otherwise communicate with each other. Some of the Yepurii have learned to speak from the scientists in the laboratory.

RARITY TRAIT EXPLANATION:

Common
It tends to be seen a lot.

Uncommon
But it's considered fairly normal. A tinier majority than the average Yepurii have these traits.

Rare
These traits are rare, 1 of 10 Yepurii . It's mesmerizing when you see them with this trait.

Ultra rare
Even rarer than rare - These traits can be seen a few times during one's lifetime. (Especially at night)

Legendary
These traits are said to be never seen with regular Yepurii. Legend has it, that they're only seen at dawn. So if you wake up suuuper early, you might find one !

Mutation
The traits are seen with Yepurii whose DNA-chain is broken. You can find them in holes, caves, old buildings ect... since they hide from the scientist, who want to get them back.
