Incase anyone is interested in how I precess my art right now.. :P

Step 1:I draw my crappy drawing wif good ol' pencil. Then Scan it in at a random (usually crappy) resolution. I adjust a bit so I can see my lines better.

Step 2:I do my lineart on a layyer above my drawing.. Check out the wonderful ~blissychild's tutorial on this Here.It's all I used to learn.. :P So try it out!! :D (Oh and I Usually do different colors for the lineart of different sections, but Ara seemed best with the black outline...and it made this easier ;P)

Step 3:I color it with base colors...There's VARIOUS ways to do this in easy ways and not so easy ways.. But, yeah I color it. NOTE: I don't use the exact colors I want it to end up.. Keep highlights and shading in mind. I also seem to use this time to notice things I forgot in the original art and add them in... (Can you guess what I missed on Ara?)

Step 4:I add textures!! :D This step usually involes alot of single brush strokes, the smudge tool and brushes found Here. (They're all the brushes I have and use right now, but I will probably download some new ones to try in the near future.) This step is subtle, because when I highlight and shade the textures pop more and look awful if I overdo it on this step.

Step 5:Smudgies!!.. This is when I use the blend tool like a mad woman... I blend where I wand to, make things look more furry...Etc. I also blend out the hardness of my lines here. I do this first...cuz...I want to :P

Step 6:Highlights and Shading!! Respectively the Dodge and burn tools.. I know I know...So many good artists hate them, but what can I say.. I can't find anything that works better, or that I know how to use :D

Finishing: Then I do a back layer and plop in a crappy background, because by then I'm cross-eyed and to orny for effort. :) I also add in finishing bits of blending to make it fit more overall..

And That's about it...It's not a full blown out tutorial, just what I do for those curious, who might want to give my way a shot... Oh and if you find YOUR way easier? TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!! o.o
