Personality:

While a child of Luna and Mirrorverse (AKA, Good King) Sombra, the lingering hateful magic from Nightmare Moon triggered something during Luna's pregnancy, altering Black Lotus to be born in looks and magic as if she were instead the daughter of the curse King Sombra. Despite her nasty looks, Black Lotus is actually an appraochable enough pony, if not a bit awkward. That her fearsome appearence frightens some others saddens her, the only time she can really come to enjoy it when she can brighten the evenings of Nightmare Night goers with a scare that sets them full of giggly fright. Lotus attempts to spend as much time as she can with her mother during Royal Court, hoping that other ponies might become desensitized to her appearence over time

O Both Black Lotus and Morning Glory are named after flowers, though Black Lotus' is more inspired by Magic the Gathering's 'Black Lotus' and it's great power/rarity.

O Lotus has the teeth of a nightmare as well and a garish grin due to it, so she very rarely smiles with teeth, since it tends to frighten ponies. Despite these fangs, she eats the same things most typical ponies would.
