Those two are Esmeralda and Maximilian. Two Gargoyles that seemed to live at Veronicas mansion without her noticing for quite a while. When she found out about them by chance, she wanted to get rid of them first but then noticed, how valuable some henchmen could be for her. She offered them that they could stay when they would do her tasks she ask them for. Esmeralda was more than happy to finally have some sort of purpose while Maximilan just followed, because Esmeralda forced him too. With such and aerial force Vera got some useful minions under her command.
They are Gladiator themed her and so are their fighting styles with Maximilan being armed with shield and Gladius while Esmeralda is armed with a trident and a net. Both can turn into statues. Max will turn into a stone statue while Esmeralda turns into a copper statue
