Found a giant node just like this one, but it was hungry. I managed to bottle it using obsidian and an Equal Trade focus, then released it in a tainted biome. It switched from hungry to tainted, and then I energized it at home (it had 1000 of each aspect!!) but unfortunately it tainted my tower so I had to get rid of it ;n;

that sounds super strong, shame you had to get rid of it instead of just cleansing the area

I tried cleansing the area but the node kept re-tainting it ;n;

Aww :( that would had been a really good node. Why couldn't you give it it's own icolated location with a few of the taint scrubbing flowers around it? Xwx

Because a few taint scrubbing flowers didn't help. It was spreading too much.

It used to be one. I DID manage to capture it. Then I put it in a tainted boime and it ate up all the taint and became a tainted node instead of a hungry node. Then I tried to use it for energy and it tainted my home so I had to destroy it ;n;

Oh snap, last i played the game i remember finding one without much knowledge about them, set up my home nearby and well, lets say my home got moved to what ever plain of existence that node takes them to. But yea I didn't know you could change it from a hungry to a tainted, Thats impressive

I miss the flying carpet and sword from earlier iterations of Thaumcraft...

ah well, make do with what you got. Sides, there is the jetpack still I believe.

And if you are really dying for a magic flight, Bewitchment's brooms are decent

I love Bewitchment so far but my heart will always belong to Witchery. When its author was assumed 'vanished from the internet' my heart broke. I was really looking forward to what came next. Maybe unicorns ;3;

Maybe Bewitchment will have unicorns someday


Also by Jetpack do you mean the Thaumostatic harness? I do remember using that a lot.. it's just not as pretty as the carpet was >3<

pretty sure Bewitchment is just Witchery updated (from what I've seen) and who knows what will be brought in. And yeah, never used the carpet
