Nice. Yeah i do think that those ancestors might have been those Mammal-like reptiles. They were basically half reptile and half mammal, So perhaps that is why these dinos have breasts even though they don't produce milk while mammals do. Can you imagine if Sora meet one of these? Like the gorgonopsid.
Yeah, I think it kinda makes sense for the mutation mentioned in the strip being possible to happen, as there is a loose connection to the mammalian-line.
That sure could be a fun scenario, even make a nice comic-plot ^^

As she says there, a mutation rather than the result of interbreeding ~ they aren't a mix of something, they are pure dinosaurs.

This was a creative and logical outlook to have that actually would make sense. The shame is that people should have figured that out since the animal kingdom dominantly shows it off all the time. The males of the animal kingdom dominate in having physical features that makes them stand out, and then there are plenty that put on visual displays for attracting a mate (from dancing like a fool with their butts in the air to building a massive nest). So when you really think about it, having breasts various sizes really does make sense in being a way for a female to attract a male in this culture's society. It could play the role of being Primary or Secondary in attraction. This could also lead to fun conversation topics for both genders, so it can also promote social order and unity along with a sense of diversity. Also considering that her civilization is of Prehistoric descent, large breasts seems very fitting to their natural design.
I know your intention of this topic was to bring questions about it to a hopeful end, but it at least gives your character's world a better sense of depth for others to understand. So it actually did you a little something in return. Give Sora my thanks for enlightening all on the subject and do feel free to share with her my thoughts on the matter. I will reveal more of their world over time. As for now, physical attributes seem to be most interesting for most people. But I will definitely move on to technology, history, society and what not in the future
