A commission for
Killer095 of their character, Alex, being absorbed/transformed into a large, sentient blob of flesh! Don't worry, she's still there and in complete control. Or is she? Ha ha, it's going to take some time getting used to such a weird, amorphic body.
An illustration of the events of Killer's story, Alex's Alien Adaptation. If you want to find out just how this all happened, pop by his story to read and see! (Literally, considering how much delicious detail this guy puts into his work, you CAN read it and see. He does some good stuff~)

When Buzz and Mira were reduced to a conjoined blob monster lol.

Oh my goodness! Yes! That episode! That one was loads of fun. Very strange and different TF, plus then the rest of the crew started to transform and merge with one another too! Thankfully Alex heree can take on a more normal form with lots and lots of focus, unlike those two who were stuck like that until they eventually got cured. That show had a number of good ideas and TFs. The blobs and the one where the three crew members get fused together are some of my faves.
I really have to give it to you for the amount of detail that you've put into this picture. If I didn't know any better, I'd say this looked like a still image from some sort of animated feature or a short film.
I ask you: What tools did you use to make this because this oozes (if you'll pardon the pun) as much creativity as the story that inspired it.

Thank you very much! ^_^ This one took a while, and there were times when I questioned how it was coming out. But between some suggestions others gave and taking the time to get it all right, I'm really happy with how it turned out, and that others have been enjoying it!
I used Clip Studio Paint Pro, which I have been using for all of my pictures for the past two years. I draw out sketches for all the phases on one layer, and the background on another. Once I get it all figured out, I line over each in their own separate lineart layers, one for the figure, one for the background. I used to have separate folders of layers for each phase, but that didn't help me much in the longer run, and made the file size super huge. Once it's lined up, I throw in the flat colours, which often helps me to see if parts of the body need to be adjusted. Once the flats are all done, I make sure everything looks to be all good and dandy before moving on to shades and highlights. Normally I just go for one layer of each, but between my soft cel-shade style and how much colour space there was with both the figure and the background, it was decided to add a mid-tone, which came out very well. That's a quick gist on how I went about this picture~
It also helped I had the story to work with, which the commissioner did an excellent job providing some very good visuals on just how her transformation carried out!
