well while i couldn't create actual flames, i could make a red shimmer orb like this brown one. if its for a staff and you are wanting this commissioned would you want it this size or bigger? And because its for a staff i would use a plastic clear ornament instead of the glass i used here, so there wouldn't be a risk of breaking, unless you wanted clay details on the outside then you would just have to be more careful with it.
