Owww, that's gotta hurt! And it was looking so promising in the first picture too!
Muse's approach seems vaguely familiar, though the dialogue in my case is usually something out of "Back the the Future":
Muse: "Just draw the first thing that comes into your mind."
Me: "Ummm... nothing's coming into my mind."
Muse: "Geez May, it's a wonder I was even born!"

Heh! "Muse" finding the "Artist" was a bit complicated. I was so frustrated trying to draw "Superhero" comics I thought I'd try something in the Early "Furry" genre. (This was in the early 1980s, mind you.) I settled on a 'morph vixen 'cause I liked foxes, and eventually the world of Artist and Muse, and the city of Mills Harbor grew out of ideas based on "Regular" people living in a world where Anthropomorphic Animals and robots exist.
