This was a surprisingly long chapter! Full of fun little bits too, it was a nice change of pace from the hectic ones. Trouble is starting to finally become amusing rather than a terror, Feral becoming...well, awkward in different ways rather than the same old ones. And Henna+Tallow are almost painfully adorable OMG. I'm gonna be so sad when they have to go back to their own time and leave her behind. :(

Lol, yeah, sorry, it rambled on a bit, but I really wanted to clear some things and establish a frame of reference for later on when everything falls apart xD

Was Trouble ever really trouble though? I mean, she's quite high maintenance, but it's all innocent energy and playfulness... at least she doesn't turn it towards practical jokes :) And if you think breaking Henna+Tee up would be sad... *spoilers*

(Besides, I'm still uncertain about how to play some things out. Traditionally I end up dodging the things that would be tear jerkers because I favour whimsy and pathos.)

I am positively beside myself wondering! And I don't mind avoiding tear jerkers all the time, though sometimes the stakes require it.

Well this certainly was interesting. Can't wait to see where it goes.
