The first piece to the broken scythe 'Broken Heart'. The scythe is made of 2 peices which fuse together to form 1 scythe. If one peice is found, and the other peice is found by another person. The peices can be fused, but if they are, both people are also fused together, creating one, new individual.
Forged by the gods for those with broken hearts. It was actually designed FOR the purpose of two people to fuse. since only those with truely broken, painful hearts may be given the honour of having the scythe. And upon the two pieces meeting, so too shall these people, and forever be happy, and healed with one another in an eternal bond.

sorta kinda. The only way to get the scythe is to search for it, or to challenge the person for dominance of the scythe's power. But by doing so, you would also know the scythe's powers and draw backs (since they all are written down in history as legendary weapons, its powers are often talked about). But in the end, the scythe doesn't have to be fused. But when both are found, they draw themselves to one another, and, unfortunatly fuse, wether the wielders want to or not.

Ah, I missed the "completely unloved" part, I think I know how that'd feel.. anyway, it all sounds good now, a willful bond on that level is..
