This is a story I've wanted to write, ever since  Poetigress announced "Missing" as a prompt. This is the story of a mouse-boy, who woke up in the hospital, stripped of his past. Now on the long, slow road to recovery, the mouse must learn social skills as well as physical ones. Meahwile, there is the mystery of David. For now, he's content to work behind the scenes, cheering Chris on.
