We're excited to announce that our Steam Launch will be on Tuesday, March 27, 2018! Shortly before then, we'll also be sending out keys to our Kickstarter supporters.
Thanks so much for giving us the support to make this possible, and for having patience so we could do things right. It means the world to us, and we can't wait to hear what you think of the game.

Awesome! The music in the game is either all original, or free for commercial use (as long as credit was given when we put it into the game itself). So if you did get a copyright strike I would be greatly surprised, as no one on this team intends to do anything like that.
Well, we're a pretty small team, so we don't have a legal department or anything like that. But we can certainly vouch for the rights to use the music in the game, so in such a case we can at least help voice any legitimacy to making a video about the game. We also know how to contact the musicians personally too should something come up.
I'm not sure if that totally alleviates your concern. I know in the very least our composer for the original tracks, and our team won't be coming after you.

That's a good question! Obviously with the main character being female there's more of a slant towards that gender, but we did make sure to slip in multiple male transformations covering non-TG themes such as muscle growth, species transformation, weight gain, etc. Likewise, there are dozens of romance opportunities with male characters as well.
Lastly I'll add that if there's enough interest we're more than happy to add more male focused pieces going forward too.

Hey there, quick update for you. If you'd like to buy the game off Steam, we're now selling a DRM-free version in the Humble Store now. Here's a quick link: http://bit.ly/piratesfatehumble
Thank you so much for being interested in us! We're looking into launching the game on additional sites in the coming weeks, but currently we're only on Steam. If you would like a short term solution please consider making an alternate Steam account to purchase the game.
Good news then, we have now launched The Pirate's Fate on Humble Store. You can grab a DRM-free, non-Steam version there.

You and your team did a great job on this game. The personalities in the writing and art pair up really well. The game is full of great transformations, and yet I still wish there were more. I was surprised by the route some of the branches went and that the results of the choices weren't cut-and-dry. It's pretty cool to play a choice-based game that openly acknowledges playing a purely "virtuous" character can open one up to hypocrisy and still cause bad things to happen. Given it's a world of piracy, that makes a lot of sense and keeps the stakes high even through multiple playthroughs because I'm still wondering where new choices will take me.
Thank you so much! I'll be sure to pass on your compliments to T.F.! It was a big deal to us to make sure that the moral directions in the game were not as clear cut as one might be used to playing, so hearing that means a lot. I hope the additional paths you find prove enjoyable for you going forward too!
