Figured I'd post up panel two so I could at least show some of the details that gets eaten by WALLS O TEXT.
The symbol above Kria (and below on the podium) is actually the Zinvth city symbol. As for the podium, the red gem Kria is touching acts similar to a microphone and translator in case a speech is being broadcasted in a different language.
Not the most amazing of stuff, but I figured if I spent the time shading that narfing symbol, I may as well post it somewhere.

Blarg. Hit enter too soon. Stupid lack of an edit function. >.<
Anyways, I love the attention to detail. I'm impressed at the attention to detail you put in all your work, especially your comics. Also, I really like that speaking stone stone idea. I'm guessing it works on telepathy somehow since Kria's not speaking to it, only touching it, so it would probably cut out a lot of idle noise, especially the ever dreaded feedback screech.

Heh. Here's one of the very few entries in the 'reasons I'm glad I can't art worth a crap' list. When the only creative works you make consist ENTIRELY of Walls of Text, you don't have to worry about blocking your uber background for the sake of the comic.
I'd be terrible at doing it too. I'd be REALLY tempted to spend hours and hours trying to kludge out a way to get the shinee background in AND the wall of text before I realized that kludges look like crap and accepted the inevitable.
And here it is, not yet dawn, and you've already done it and posted it. You are far, far stronger than I. I'm actually impressed, and given that I've loved your comic to death for a very long time, that's saying something.

Despite my not being ecstatic about equines in general, I find Kria to be perhaps your most physically attractive character. maybe it's the markings,or the very angular feel of the character with her large wings and gaunt but beautiful features. I am not sure how to describe her, aside from saying that you have drawn her to -look- as powerful as she is supposed to be, and perhaps that is what makes her so attractive.
You did a beautiful job on that city-symbol,and I am glad you let everyone see it before you text-walled it. making something that might have otherwise been anunimportant two dimensional image artifact so lifelike is not easy. You did great!
