Hmm, no "costuming" submission theme.
This is a picture of my current display of the sort of colours I can produce resin claws in. As you can see the colours blend beautifully, and the claws are very strong. They're also available in three sizes, which you can see in the bottom-left.
Tomorrow I'll take a picture of the Special Order claws which have stripes, glow in the dark, glow in the dark stripes, can be translucent, made of "rubber" or have LEDs in them! :3
EDIT: Glowies are here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2808251
All available at reasonable prices, made and customised to order!
Will upload the pricing formulae tomorrow too!
EDIT: Pricing info!
Claws are in three sizes; 3, 4 and 5cm long. That's Small, Medium and Long.
They're cast in a polyurethane resin reinforced with calcium carbonate.
In base colours (those down right hand side):
Small has a base price of £1, Medium is £1.10 and Long is £1.20.
Colour blending to order: £5
For stripes add 50p per claw per extra colour.
For glow in the dark add 75p per claw (this premium quality glow powder is expensive. Supply of Green is in stock, other colours will need time to order in)
To have an LED mounted add 50p per claw. Can be clear or translucent. Add 10p extra per for translucent colour (advised, diffuses colour better).
To have glowing striped claws (LED within a striped claw) add £1 per claw. This is still at the experimental stage and fiddly work so my losses are higher.
To have the claws made in rubber (good for footpaws) add 50p per claw.
Clear or translucent claws with other fillings are negotiable.
Colours will be mixed by eye. If exact colour matching is needed I recommend specifying in international panatone colours.
If the colours need to be absolutly accurate then there may be an additional fee.
Some combinations are not possible. For example the rubber claws cannot be translucent or readily fitted with LEDs as the rubber is too dense.
Claws are cast from quality silicone moulds taken from hand-carved oak masters, giving the final product a glossy finish with a realistic grain.
All claws are designed to be sewn in place to the end of the glove finger, giving superior retention. The base of each claw is drilled with 8 holes and a central recess for threads to cross.

Convenient that you posted this, Sci. I just got my first commissioner interested in clawed paws. xD Which means I shall almost definitely be coming to you soon (the almost being dependant on the commissioner officially going for the claws). ^_^
Just to double check, a single solid color with no glowy bits or LED's or anything is just the standard price, right?
Oh and any chance of there being pics floating around somewhere of these used in handpaws?

Yup a single solid colour is just the base price for the size. :3
No pictures. No one's sent me pictures of them in use yet. Going to have to knock up a display model really.
Oh, I'm also working on "rubber" pawpads too. Just trying to find the right backing fabric for them. Been advised to try cheesecloth. Can also be coloured in any of the above shades. Easier in fact. The claws get lighter as they set, but the elastomer for the pads stays exactly the same colour.

Good good.
Well, if this guy goes for the whole she-bang, let me be the first to share pictures of the claws in use. If not, give me a bit more time to get up the spare play-around cash and I'll make a random pair for fun. I've got several sets in mind that I wanna make for auction anyway, so any one of them would be a good bet. =3
Good to have in mind. I'm still in the beginning stages of adding pawpads to my handpaws... I'm having a hard enough time getting fleece, felt and pleather added to the buggers. The rubber and latx pads I've seen have been added to the fur so well that I simply can't fathom how they got them on. ^_^;;; But we'll see once I've gotten a bit better in my craft...

Any chance you've acquired any pics of the claws in use yet, Sci? I've picked up another potential commissioner interested in handpaws with claws added, but they've specified they do need to be small/short ones.
Measurements might do me ok if you're still without any pics of the claws in use though.
