So there is an ongoing story here.
This image was like a gut punch compared to the others. Carefree, alive and green - now in anguished red pain and heartbreak.
Don't take this wrong, but it really makes me think of Disney Pocahontas, when she saves John Smith from being killed. I'm not fond of the movie, but that sequence, the color and timing of it, especially the harsh red color, all had a profound impact on me as a kid. It's that same impact that I'm feeling here, looking at these two being torn apart.
