That was some serious dialogue there but it was very well done. Hex's song was wonderfully written and pretty much summed up why anyone would want to be babyfur. It was also nice to see Ham Ham finally open up to her squire. It's cool how you linked this story to one of your older ones. This world of yours is really coming alive. As usual, I'm really looking forward to the next chapter, keep it up!
Oopa! I was kind of going for that effect when I wrote Hex into that particular scene. Aside from writing a good story, I'm really trying to keep those I feature in it as close to character as possible. Plus, as you can probably imagine, doing so leaves room for readers to wonder if any fore-shadowing may be at play here. :)
Yeah, that was quite the dialogue. After writing this section, I actually decided to, where I can, do my best to not get so carried away in one particular scene. However, I really wanted Ham-Ham to talk about how things were before the Creative Campaigns. Not only did it give her character more substance, but I believe it made the world they reside in seem a lot less one-sided and flat.

Hehe, yeah. When I think of Hex I think of his cuddly babyfur form.. not an adolescent honor bound squire. Though I'm certainly not saying a cub could have any of those qualities.... far from it! Also, I'm very happy I read all your work up to this point, helps to understand what's going on immensely! It also gave me something fun to do on those long boring nights.. thanks Yosh!
You're welcome. And thank you for having taken the time to review over the body of work in which I have posted here on FA. It is an honor for me to have a talented artist like yourself not only take the time to review it over, but also provide such inisightful remarks and critiques. :)
I'm glad you are enjoying the story as it continues to develop. The best part of this tale, compared to others that I've done, is how I have been able to find all sorts of ways to use the inspiration I've gotten from great friends like yourself and pour it into each section. :) Good times!
As for the name's of locations and other various things, they are largely derived from the names of people I have either known and/or have heard of in passing. Some have been spiced up through the addition of nicknames I've either heard, or come up with, to enhance the fantasy element of the story. :)

Luckily they could clear things up in a mature fashion. (: It makes me happy that the war wasn't really glorified - kind of like how Kurt Vonnegut never really glorified it in his work either, at least from what I read. And I'd have to agree with her that, despite all the bad stuff in it, at least some good things can come out. But ah, it's good they've gotten a better understanding of each other now. Hopefully there's more to their journey together!
Yep, yep! Actually, the duo is due for some excitement in the coming sectiions that I am sure will show what a powerful team they are.
Kurt Vonnegut, eh? He wrote Slaughterhouse 5 right? Up until you mentioned him, I had no idea of either him or the book. Though, what I got to learn from in a quick search of the two was definately most fascinating. More intriguing, though, is how my wife knew of him. Thanks for helping me learn two new things in one shot. Oopa!
