Mission: 8
Objective: Bring Foxy and Lesbuni together.
Nishi's Note: Happy Trails
Everyone's out of the Patahut safe - Foxy's been taken out, Fuxie's wounds have been healed, and Lesbuni is finding comfort.
One of Foxy's troupe members chats it up with Fuxie and Cooni, recalling how they ran into each other back when Avis Brightwing hired them, and Fuxie teased a bit.
Oxnard steps in apologizes for getting Fuxie hurt, since she wasn't told how dangerous Foxy was.
Yosh-E-O's troupe picks up a new member and heads out, as do the Q&A and the others involved in the Patahut situation that day.

It's not really important. :B I don't think he's exclusively gay either - yoshis seem very care-free. (:
I have such bad gaydar, offline and online. I'm always surprised when I find out my teachers are married, ahaha.
But I think one thing I like about characters is when you don't dictate every aspect of their lives - so people can use their own imagination and have more fun with em. (:

Kazootles! Who knew that the Do-Gooders had everything so well planned out in advance?
Big points for Lesbuni for being able to put herself through all that in order to catch Foxy before she did something she'd wind up regretting down. Her demeanor definately shows that it wasn't an easy thing to do, but it also presents just how much Lesbuni cares about her. Love is not always an easy road. Nope, nope, nope!
On an ironic note, I can't help but wonder how Fuxie feels about technically working for free for the Do-Gooders? Sure she and the Q&A got paid for helping Foxy, but the work and pain she went through in the capture of their client was all pro bono.
Huzzah! The troupe lives on! I'm sure Lesbuni will keep the spirit of the stories alive through her own special flare to the interpretative dances that Foxy did so well. Perhaps, when Foxy is rehabilitated, they both can stay on as part of the troupe to make the presentation even better than ever?
Brilliant work in closing this section so well. It kept me guessing the whole time and always presented something new and exciting to learn and/or see in every panel. Oopa!

Hehe, we DGers like our plans to be more than just good, we want to do our best! :D
Luckily things seemed to end up okay, as awful as the whole situation might have been... but there's a chance for things to work out, and for the troupe to have even more of a show when they're all together again. (:
Actually, as much as I planned for the chapter to end here, I think a question my friend had, and the question you had, might end up being the final two pages of the chapter. Even if it's just the Q&A going over what happened, it might be good to clarify or communicate some of the depth that I seem to have a hard time making clear. 8D So we'll see!

Nothing wrong with adding a little more here-and-there to show just how deep and involved the characters and story are. Nope, nope, nope!
Actually, if I dare suggest, I believe some questions that have been posed are actually matters that may not have initially come to mind until others opted to bring them up for consideration. In my writing, I have had this happen to me TONS of times and it has resulted in either a series of re-writes, edits, or future chapters that are partially dedicated to clearing up the "I never thought to consider that myself" situation. :)
On the plus side, thanks to thoughtful outsiders, I can always feel happy that my work is the best that it can be. There's nothing worse than assuming you did a perfect job without critique and then wondering why nobody ever understood what you are trying to present.
I have you to thank immensely for getting the ball rolling on me in recovering from this very situation. Without you, a lot of my work to this day would be more WTF than memorable and/or read worthy. :) Thank you!

Hehe, I know! :D I love it. (: Today a friend asked me how people's input ended up affecting the story. and it got me thinking about how different it is to make something and show it as you go, and get feedback, like I did with Circles and the Q&A, compared to Zelda: AMILF where I drew everything out first and then got opinions when it was all finished... and then I rushed to do inbetween pieces in the free day between uploads... it's really different.
Since, at the moment I don't think I'll be posting the yoshi story as I make it, I don't think I'd get that same feedback... but if I ever do make a comic or story again, I think that input can be all the difference. (: So I'll have to consider that when making my final decisions. X3

True. Especially as there are pros-and-cons to both.
When doing posts as you finish them, you are able to be more proactive than reactive when it comes to reader confusion and interests. However, it can also make you inclined to develop the work more favorably toward fan wants than what the original story in your head is telling you it should be.
As for finishing the work and then posting it, you have the benefit of sharing the original vision of what it was meant to be from start-to-finish. However, if reader confusion occurs, it can make things quite saddening as there is little you can do immediately to fix it.
In the end, I guess it really comes down to how closely you tie yourself to your work. If it feels like it is largely a part of you and who you are, it may be best to do it all first and then share. If there is confusion, then you have the power to change things as you see fit based on the original integrity of the story in your head. However, if the work is more experimental and/or just for fun it can be quite fruitful to gain live feedback to not only make the experience more enjoyable, but also find ways to make your core work even better through the completion of an enjoyable piece. :)

Hehe, when I was thinking this over, I realized that re-writing the story, like you said, would be more proactive than the way I was only reactive when I submitted it about 4/5 years ago. 8D So in a way, I already got feedback on the whole comic, and now I can take that and make it a lot less confusing or fix it in certain places where I remember being confusion for others, or where there is a more obvious source of confusion for myself. (: In that case, I don't think I'll feel like I'll have missed out on getting feedback along the way - and I can keep it as something special for those that're really into the series. :3
