I really loved this old doodle I did way back in 2007 or so, so I decided, hey, I wanna try color it in and give it the status it deserves. It was practically as refined as a sketch could be, and I think it's those ones that are certainly the most deserving of getting finished. Whether or not I finish them, though, is up to me. XD

But yeah, so, this cutie is the product of my adoration for Charmanders. They're really cute. D: I know a lot of people love 'em, but I can't help myself, I do too. ^^; And this one I wanted to make like 10x cuter by giving it a blue flower bow thing on her head.

Of course I really liked her appearance in that doodle from way back, looking sort of tough and, well, as I said in the title... fiery! X3 Don't let that bow lull you into believing she's a pushover, that's for sure!

Yeah, I don't really have all that much to complain about in this I guess. Background is sort of makeshift because I hate white backgrounds, but I like how it turned out more or less. Charmanders don't usually have white to their eyes, I know, but I wanted this one to and that's how I drew her, so deal with it. XD I'm not 100% confident with the shading and highlighting (it's not meant to go with the background, but rather Charmander's tail flame), but it's also not too shabby either.

Hurray for Flash and pressure sensitivity again so I'm all motivated to draw and make art happen. ;-; <3
