You ever see those giant banners in the mega-huge theaters that show just ONE character from a film at a time?
They usually have the Character is a pose, a quote or witty summary of their character and their name. I was thinking what it would be like if I did that with Acme Loo's Rival School Perfecto Prep from Tiny Toons.
What I wound up with was a slightly more redesigned version of the characters which in my opinion were VASTLY underused.
There were two Perfecto characters in the Acme Bowl that were never named A horse football player and a Cow Cheerleader (Feel free to check out the screengrabs on this site. http://members.fortunecity.com/dark.....perfecto1.html )
I decided to give them names and flesh them out a little.
Edwin's design is rather simplified. My reasoning is that when you're the team's muscle you don't need an overcomplicated outfit.
I took inspiration for the outfit from a movie called 'First Knight'. The shield-armor-thing on his right arm is meant to protect his good shoulder.
As for his dark eyes that isn't shadow, it's meant to be sunglasses. All in all it's hard to draw glasses with arms and have it look good on someone who's ears are on the top of their head.
I wanted him to have a strange nobility about him despite the reputation of his school. A black knight is still a Knight.

Made me think of Nick Fury: Agent of SHIELD when I saw it before reading your description.
