Marshal Matt At The O.K. Carbarn...
And now, the reason for A Very MMM Halloween: I was spending the day operating the Fort Smith Trolley Museum Birney whilst dressed as Matt Mason, U.S. Space Marshal.
After all, it IS Halloween.
Paid off, too. We wound up getting a Halloween birthday party riding the car... ;)

the electric engine thing was deliberate, it explains itself in time. and for the throttle thing, i've seen the term throttle used for cars in the UK, and I'm deliberately mixing UK and US terminology.
But thanks so much for reading and it's so awesome to have someone to nitpick my technical stuff because BOY DO I NEED IT cause I have no first hand experience and learned most everything I know from the internet and my cousin who's a motorman on the NYC subway..
The closest I've been to an functional street railway car was at the Electric City Trolley Museum in Scranton PA, but I showed up on a day when no excursions were planned. My oldest electric experience aside from that is a BMT D Type Triplex on the NYC Subway.
