Markus watched with rapt fascination as he watched the absolutely colossal merman soared over him like a falling skyscraper, making the tiny’s heart skip a beat. He knew Zed merely took a step forward, and it made Markus feel extremely small. The human gulped as the titan sat down with a thud and a soft whooshing sound of displaced air was followed by the soft creaking of the armchair beneath the merman’s incredible weight; Zed likely didn’t even pay attention to any of it.
Instinctively Markus took a few steps back only to stumble and fall on his back as Zed’s sneakers touched down in front of him as the giant settled in his seat. Up above he could see the sushi roll between Zed’s fingers. The little guy knew his friend was in there and he knew exactly what was going to happen next.
Markus wouldn’t get to dwell on it though as the pair of feet in front of him came to life, one foot pressing at the heel of the other as Zed fumbled a bit with his shoes as he popped both of them off, kicking one off to the side. It zoomed past the little man like a high-speed cruise ship and the little guy let out a frightened yelp as Zed’s toe wiggled, drawing his attention. The peculiar smell of Zed’s musk filled wafted off of the enormous feet as the moved closer, slipping along the tiled floor and brining one of the enormous sneakers with them before finally stopping, allowing the micro on the floor a brief reprieve.
The speck of a human finally had the chance to look only to find the sushi roll gone from Zed’s hands. Markus was just in time to see the merman’s head surge upwards ever-so-slightly as the delicious little treat was swallowed. Zed let out a soft pleased hum, his eyes closed as he savored the aftertaste and then finally he turned his gaze to Markus.
"So... you people who are into this... you like the smell, right? You can sniff... um, in my shoe if you'd like?" One of Zed’s feet fumbled with the remaining shoe, turning the opening of it to point at Markus. The giant’s foot remained atop the sneaker while his gaze travelled elsewhere; Zed seemed mostly uninterested in what the sentient speck was going to do next, at least for now. Idly the titan rested one hand on his abdomen, thinking about the other puny creature he had just consumed, wondering what it must be like in there.
As Markus looked into the opening in Zed’s sneaker, he hesitated. It loomed over him like the mouth of a massive cave with the warm fish-scented air radiated from it. The human gulped as he saw the massive toes peeking just over the edge of the massive sneaker and then looked over the shoulder to see the other foot just behind him. The tiny fellow gulped and got up. He took a step closer and reached his hand towards the opening, grabbing onto it and pulling himself up and inside.
Markus stood frozen for a moment admiring the sheer vastness of the space inside the sneaker. His eyes trailing along the foot-shaped imprint on the insole and the little man’s knees shook a little. It was hard to believe that all this space housed just one of Zed’s feet.
Up above Zed let out a contented sigh and picked up a book, the thought of the two miniature humans well and truly gone from his mind as he immersed himself in his hobby. His toes began idly tapping, both at the floor and the sneaker Markus currently resided in. It was unlikely that he would go looking for the little fellow, or really care if he accidently crushed him inside that shoe. They hadn’t explicitly agreed on it but the way Zed saw it, if one of them was doomed to disappear inside his stomach why bother sparing the other one?

I've loved the stuff
Xamz for a very long time now and I was elated at the chance to finally commission something from him with
CommanderLeifN7 pitching in.
Xams does wonderful crisp drawings with stellar perspective work and he's been very accommodating throughout the entire commission process, it was a pleasure to work things out with him and provide feedback in the WIPs. Can't recommend his services enough honestly.
