Yeah, so trying to price by size was definitely a failure - basically, regardless of the size, I end up using the same techniques and more or less the same amount of detail, especially as I always worry that a client will feel disappointed if they receive anything but my highest standard. Unless otherwise requested, I'll use larger canvasses for pieces with more characters or large-scale backgrounds, and standard 8x10" canvasses for regular stuff. And humungous canvasses for dakimakuras, obviously :P

I broke down the pricing for backgrounds into "standard" and "complex", because otherwise it would have been such a broad price range as to be totally useless, LOL. The ranges here are still quite broad, I know; but these days, my commission time is measured in days rather than in hours, so we're talking about a very broad range of timeframes work-wise.

A few reminders:

- I will send a WIP of the sketch to give you a chance to request changes before I start colouring. Big changes - if I have to redraw more than half of it - may incur an extra charge.

- For reference sheets, I'll also send a WIP of the flat colours (including markings etc).

- My "standard" pay schedule is half up front (if you're on the waitlist, this will be postponed until I'm close to starting), and half when you've approved the WIP sketch for colouring. However, I'm always open to breaking down the payment into smaller instalments, especially for large projects.

- Work on the next phase of the project will not start until the previous instalment is paid. For this reason, it's never a problem if you need to space payments out further, or put the commission on hold temporarily until you're ready. Furry art should be a treat, not a source of stress ^.^

How to commission me:

Keep an eye on my FA Journal posts. I open up a new commission queue every few months (at least I *try* to :P), and I will always give advance notice of at least a week before opening a new queue.
