It would seem Sotelo wasn't impressed in the least with Aro and Goatella's suggestion of joining up with Ham-Ham and Hex. Feeling as if things may not have been properly explained, Hex opts to chase after the disgruntled goat in the hopes of clearing things up and getting him to reconsider being a part of the team effort that is the destruction of The Grimoire of Ennui.

*Hugs* No worries. Actually, after this section, I may start slowing down the progression so that it is easier for everyone to keep up. Plus, *clever smile* Doing so will allow me more time to catch up on all that wonderful work of yours that I have fallen terribly behind on. :) *blushes and quacks bashfully*
There was some pretty heavy dialogue in this chapter. I think it was well executed, there was definitely some real emotion behind the two characters' interaction. I was loving every minute of it. As usual.. I can't wait to see what's around the bend for us!
Oopa! Actually, we were are almost ready to, at long last, leave The Great Vault and embark onto the next big leg of the journey. Things only get more interesting from here, too, as far more folks get involved in the grand quest to rid of the world of the Grimoire of Ennui.

I think in these stories I usually get a giggle outta something. This time it was hearing about Chocolate. :B But aside from the silly, I think you did a really good job with both these guys! Hex seems more mature than I though! (: And even if Sotelo might think he has things figured out sooner than he really does, it's good that he heard Hex out, so that he's able to help the group with their future travels!

Huzzah! This was probably the toughest section yet in that I really wanted to write it in a believable way that wasn't too long, kept the characters true, and that didn't come off cheesy.
The next section will conclue The Great Vault saga. However, with Sotelo a part of the team, things will definately start getting interesting. :)
