Sorry, but unless I can communicate with the artist about the product and get a chance to give some feedback on it, I'm not gonna go for that offer. I don't want to pay money for some random song that I might not like at all.
1 I get an e-mail stating the user gave me 2$ thru paypal.
2 I send THEM an E-Mail asking for their thoughts on what they would like the song to sound like, or if they choose to give me free-will over it all.
3 The respond with some info either about their character and/or about the style they would prefer that I do it in (or attempt to do it in) sofar I've been safe with mostly dancy stuff...

So I'd expect that to be cleared up pretty soon so I might be able to handle MIDI (above) and others like yourself.
Sounds very cool indeed. Has an 8-bit feel to it but is tied with more real-sounding instruments. Solid beat and by halfway through you've definitely got something going here. Then towards the end we descend back into some more simple retro sounds to tie it up.
Whilst I agree that perhaps the system for doing these sorta songs needs to be re-thought, $2 is a real bargain for songs of this quality.
