For some reason I thought I had more than this. They took about a month to make. Anyway, one of my dreams is to make a Pokemon hack, but I do not understand scripting or hex at all, even when reading guides. All I can do is come up with ideas and makes the sprites :/. Most of the typing is probably obvious. Also, coming up with names is definately the hardest part of making up Pokemon.
FYI: 3rd generation games (ruby and fire red especially) have the most tools for hacking and are almost always the hacked games of choice. The Pokemon sprite limitations are 64 by 64 pixels (or was it 65?) and 15 colors. Also, this hack would not be intended for sale, but stuff like this always ends up as pirated cartridges on ebay >_>

You got a knack for it. =) I especially love the unnamed native america themed bird.
If hacking is too difficult, you could look into using the Pokémon starter kid for RPG maker.
Or alternatively, if you really can't manage, you could look into getting somebody with coding knowledge to team up with you.

I've thought about the rpg maker (btw do you go to Pokecommunity too?) but I'd rather out that effort into an original concept. I've also thought about starting a thread there just with my ideas and sprites and seeing if I could recruit a knowledgable scripter, but I am kind of shy, heh.
These...are more awesome than I expected. x3 I saw "My Pokemans" and I'm like "Oh, pictures of someone's pokemon team and stuff. :3" Then...custom sprites, and I was like "Oh...hm." followed by looking closer at them, and well.. all I can really say is I certainly would have fun using some of these guys in a game. :3 Great job. ^^
The lemur will evolve into a mandrill and then a gorilla who will be Electric/Fighting. Something like an expy to Electabuzz. I chose a ringtail because they're the most identifiable and its tail could be like a natural danger warning sign, lol. I want to do gendered evolutions but I don't know if evolution methods that didn't exist can be done in a hacked game.
BTW, have you seen Electabuzz's evolution? It's pretty weird: http://images.google.com/images?gbv.....=1&start=0

Good eye for the design choices :D. My made up nameless continent would actually be somewhat based on the united states west of the mississippi so several of the Pokemon would have native american or just native animal influence. Ninjami is only there because I had him for almost 10 years but I guess he could pass as a sort of cat-raccoon. Ninjami is Fighting/Poison but his final evolution is Fighting/Dark with the immunity ability (I like talking about Pokemon, durp)
