So, I wrote a story for  ikora770 I think it turned out Ok, so I decided to illustrate it and post it up in bits... Enjoy! =^^=

(These events take place immediately after "Boast Busters" )


Trixie ran.

The small blue pony ran as fast as her four legs could carry her and as far away from Ponyville and her recent humiliation. She ran on roads less and less traveled until she reached the outskirts of the Everfree Forest. There, alone, she would plot and train for her revenge.

“Trixie will show that upstart mare and her friends just who is the greatest magician of all! But how?” Her progress slowed to a trot. The forest felt dim and silent as the solitary mare traveled the lonely road. Suddenly a rickety rope bridge spanned a gorge in front of her. Across it she could make out a spectacular castle. A low growl from her tummy reminded her that she had not eaten yet that day. Perhaps she could give the inhabitants of the castle a show in exchange for a meal?

Cautiously, the blue mare crossed the bridge and approached the main gate of the castle. However, she soon discovered the imposing fortress to be no longer inhabited, but a great ruin instead! The main gate hung partially open, large portions of the walls scarred and blasted into rubble. A great battle had taken place here a long time ago.

“H-hello? Anypony there?” Trixie's voice echoed off stone walls and long abandoned corridors. Her hooffalls made a lonely rhythm breaking the silence of the ruin. She looked around, but could find no sign of life. Another growl from her tummy prompted her to further explore the desolate area in the hopes of finding some scrap of food.

Ugh, that castle is a mess, I lifted it straight from a screenshot of the show and just added my coloring. Could probably spend days detailing it to make it look slightly better. Trixie almost looks like Trixie...

A little foreshadowing here too... =^w^=
