A somber drive along The Strand, the stretch of shoreline from which Strandherd gets its name.
Page 28 is here. I wanted to show off some of the topography of Strandherd in this page. This little city is nestled between an expansive countryside to the west and a vast sea strand to the east, nestled against a beautiful mountain range to the North. Even somewhere so serene can hide something sinister.

Not quite. Chapter 1 is set in October 2013 which is when Quill was murdered. Chapter 2 takes place in April 2015 about 18 months after Quill's death. The story follows Dustin's journey as he struggles with changes in his life while hunting down the person who did this.
Some stuff about Dustin and Quill's full relationship details haven't been revealed yet but without spoiling anything too big, at the time of Quill's death Dustin and Quill had known eachother since 2002 (11 years) and became an official couple when they graduated from the police academy 2004 (9 years). Age wise in case you're curious Dustin is currently 31 and Quill died when he was 29. There was a 5 month age difference between them.
