One of the first…well, actually the second folks to come to me with an idea for a commission was  zigzagziggy, of his two characters Dirk, and a yet-to-be-designed character, Brock, a burly but big bellied bison. Designing characters for folks is something I rarely get to do but something of a treat…and though he wanted Brock to have a belly, it doesn’t really show up in this picture. But…it’s there, take my word for it.
Though getting back to bulls was something fun for me, I’m sad to say this picture was something of a nightmare to do. The first thing that happened, was a spent nearly 2 hours on the rough sketch of Dirk…only to forget to save it, and have to redraw him again. Next when I was inking, I accidentally inked the pencil sketch, not on a new layer, so I had to do that again too. Finally, when coloring dirk, his colors wouldn’t cooperate, so I had to erase them and start from scratch…I’m still not entirely happy with them, but then again I’m always that way about stuff.
But anyways, I hope Zig likes this picture despite all my troubles, and once more, thank you so much for commissioning me!
