I wouldn't let these people get to you. One of them doesn't even contribute anything to FA. No Art, No Poetry, No Stories, Nothing. The other one has a failtastic icon that looks like clip art that's been crudely colored over in MS Paint.

People should be more encouraging of new artists as opposed to just.. completely unhelpful. I'm sure people have made fun of that guy's art when he started out and this is his way of making someone else feel the way he felt then.

For enhancing your style, I would recommend finding a photo you like from a magazine of a particular pose, etc, then use basic construction techniques to figure out how everything looks, Use basic lines, circles, etc. Do the same thing for the frontal view of a horse head :) It'll help you better understand how to design your anthros ^^

You're braver than I am in uploading anthro art! My stuff is all crap! I stick to my natural/4 legged animals! ^^

You're exactly right! Everyone has to prove their own style and the only way to learn that is through drawing, drawing, and more drawing!

but, the thing here is the head is kinda small, or the body is kinda big.
and I guess you arent a square.
and the arms are too short, and too thin, also the hands are way to small.
